💡 Insider Tips
- ⛷️ July-August is peak season—crowds, high prices. September offers better value, spring conditions, fewer people. Early season (June) has limited terrain open.
- 📈 Book packages early—flight + accommodation + lift pass deals save money. Peak weeks (mid-July) book out 6+ months ahead.
- 🍽️ Après-ski: hot chocolate and alfajores (dulce de leche cookies), not beer. Though wine bars exist. Argentine ski culture more refined than party-focused.
- 🌡️ Altitude affects performance—resorts reach 2,000-3,400m. Drink water, take it easy first day. Bariloche at 800m, Las Leñas much higher.
- 💰 Rentals cost $30-50 USD/day—bring own gear if possible. Las Leñas limited services, Catedral has full rental shops.
