Podgorica Airport to City Center
Bus Line 20 runs between airport and city center. Journey time: 20-25 minutes. Ticket: €1-2. Taxis available at airport. Fixed prices around €10-15 to city center.
Tivat Airport to Kotor/Budva
Bus connections to Kotor (15 minutes, €3-5) and Budva (30 minutes, €5-7). Taxis to Kotor around €15-20, to Budva €20-30. Many hotels offer airport transfers—ask when booking.
Car Rental
Available at both airports. Recommended for exploring beyond coastal cities. Roads good condition, but mountainous—drive carefully. €25-50/day depending on season and car type.

Bus from Croatia—Dubrovnik to Kotor/Budva (2-3 hours, around €10-15). Popular route. Multiple daily departures. Border crossing included.

Walking
- Kotor Old Town: Compact, fully walkable in 30 minutes. Fortress walls require climbing 1,350 steps.
- Budva Old Town: Small medieval center, 10-15 minutes to walk through. Beach promenades extend several kilometers.
- Podgorica: Spread out, less walkable than coastal towns. Local buses or taxis recommended.
Montenegro is small—you can drive coast to mountains in 2-3 hours. Makes day trips easy from any base.
