Train from Suvarnabhumi to Phaya Thai station connects to BTS Skytrain. Journey time: 30 minutes. Ticket: ฿45 baht. Runs 6am-midnight.
Taxi (Metered)
Official metered taxis downstairs at airport. Use meter, add ฿50 baht airport surcharge plus tolls (฿75-100 baht). Journey time: 40-90 minutes depending on traffic. Cost: ฿300-500 baht total.

🚢 Other Ways In
Ferry from Malaysia—Langkawi to Koh Lipe (1.5 hours, around ฿1,200-1,800 baht). Seasonal route. Satun Pakbara port. Only southern Thailand entry.
Land border from Cambodia—Poipet to Aranyaprathet (main crossing), Koh Kong to Trat. Bus connections available. Visa on arrival. Can be slow (scams common).
Land border from Laos—Nong Khai (Vientiane crossing), Chiang Khong (boat to Laos), Mukdahan. Multiple crossings. Visa on arrival most nationalities.

Flying almost always easier—Bangkok airport is major Southeast Asian hub. Land crossings save money but add time and complexity.
