Ride-hailing apps are safe and reliable. Journey time: 30-50 minutes (depending on traffic and destination). Cost: R$60-100 to Copacabana/Ipanema.
Official Taxi

🎫 Travel Pass Tip
Brazil is huge—5th largest country in the world. Flying saves time. A 20-hour bus ride costs R$200, a 2-hour flight costs R$300. Your time matters. Consider flight passes from GOL or LATAM for multiple destinations.

Uber and 99 are the safest, easiest options for tourists. Both apps work perfectly in major cities.
Rio de Janeiro

🚗 Renting a Car
