Texel Island—escape Amsterdam crowds
Texel: largest Wadden Island, 30km of beaches, dunes, seal colonies. 1hr ferry from Den Helder, 90 mins Amsterdam.

Zandvoort—Amsterdam's beach escape
Zandvoort: 30 mins train Amsterdam Central. Wide sandy beach, surf culture, beach clubs, casino. Most accessible beach from Amsterdam.
