  • 🌊 Atlantic vs Indian Ocean—Cape Town's Atlantic side COLD (14-17°C), Indian Ocean side (False Bay, Durban) WARM (19-24°C). Choose accordingly.
  • 🦈 Shark nets/spotters at main beaches. Attacks rare but real. Swim during lifeguard hours, stay inside flags. Dawn/dusk highest risk—avoid.
